Bingin shredlord Tommy Sobry, has taken out a huge field of Indonesian surfers to win the men’s open title. Tommy, who can be spotted surfing Bingin almost every day or down the reef at Padang Padang when it’s on, recently surfed his way into this year’s main event in the Rip Curl Padang Padang Cup. Well respected amongst the Indonesian surfing community, Tommy is known for putting on a show with his massive hacks and wizardry in the tube. Tommy, who has been riding for Freefall for 5+ years is constantly providing his expert R&D feedback on our fins, leashes and grips.

Special mention to another of Free Fall’s team riders Mega Artana for securing the #3 spot in the men’s open divison and making it to the Padang Padang Cup main even again this year. He, like Tommy, is one of Indonesia’s best goofy footers. Mega rides for Halfway Boardriders, while Tommy is from Bingin and Jaya with Legian / Padma.
